SIM Card Slot Repair in Hyderabad

Signs your SIM slot needs repair

  • The phone shows "No SIM" or "Insert SIM" even though a SIM is in
  • The SIM is detected only when you press on the tray or the back of the phone
  • Signal keeps dropping to zero and coming back when the phone is moved
  • The SIM tray is stuck, bent or will not slide in fully
  • The tray is lost or broken, or a SIM has been pushed in without a tray
  • A tray ejector pin or broken piece of metal is stuck inside the slot

When it might be something else

A "No SIM" message is often not the phone's fault. Try these first:

  • Restart the phone and reseat the SIM, making sure it sits flat in the tray
  • Try your SIM in another phone, and another working SIM in your phone. If your SIM fails in both, it is the SIM card; your network operator can replace it
  • Check that airplane mode is off
  • Trimmed or adapter-fitted SIMs can sit unevenly and lose contact

Problems with a carrier-locked phone, an eSIM profile or network settings are software or account issues, which we do not handle. The technician will tell you if that seems to be the case.

How the doorstep SIM slot repair works

A trained, background-checked technician visits your home or office and tests the slot with a known-working SIM in front of you. They check the tray, the contact pins inside the reader and whether anything is stuck in the slot. You get a price before anything is opened.

If only the tray is bent or missing, a new tray may be all you need. If the pins in the reader are bent or worn, the reader is repaired or replaced. On many Android phones the reader is on a small sub-board or flex cable; on iPhones and some others, it is soldered to the main board, which needs component-level work. In that case, our motherboard repair page explains the approach. Once done, you check the SIM is detected and you can make a call before paying.

Part options and what affects the price

Trays and readers come in A-grade or standard quality, your choice. Price depends on your model, whether it is the tray, a sub-board reader, or a board-mounted reader, and the grade. A replacement tray on its own is usually the simplest job. The technician confirms the final price after inspection. A small visit charge applies and is adjusted against the bill if you go ahead.

How long it takes

It depends on the model and on which part has failed. A tray swap is quick; reader repairs take longer. The technician confirms the time at inspection.

Warranty

SIM slot repairs carry the 90-day Refits warranty on the same issue. If the same fault returns within 90 days, we fix it again. Physical or liquid damage after the repair is not covered.

Models we commonly service

SIM trays and readers on iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, OnePlus, Google Pixel, Xiaomi and Redmi, Vivo, Oppo, Realme and Motorola phones, plus tablets with SIM slots. Availability depends on part stock for your model. Related: Samsung repair and iPhone repair.

Frequently asked questions

I lost my SIM tray. Can you replace just the tray?

Yes, if a tray for your model is in stock. Matching colour depends on availability.

Only one of my two SIMs works. Is that the slot?

It can be. Swap the two SIMs between positions; if the fault stays with the position, the slot is likely at fault.

Something is stuck in my SIM slot. Should I try to pull it out?

Better not to. Pulling with tweezers can bend the reader pins. Leave it for the technician.

Can you fix eSIM problems?

No. eSIM issues are software or network related, which we do not handle. Your network operator can help.
