Common OnePlus problems
AMOLED display damage
Most OnePlus phones use AMOLED displays, including both flat and curved designs. After a drop you might see a cracked top glass with a working display, or the display itself may show lines, flicker, dark patches or a green tint. Some users also report a line appearing across the display without any drop. In each case, the fix is usually a full display replacement. Battery wearing out
Fast charging is convenient, but after a couple of years of daily use the battery holds less charge. Signs include needing two charges a day, the percentage jumping suddenly, or the phone switching off in the cold of an air-conditioned office. See battery replacement.
Charging port issues
If fast charging no longer kicks in, or the cable only works at an angle, the USB-C port may be dirty or worn. We check whether cleaning is enough or the port needs replacing. More on our charging port repair page.

Before you book
- Find your exact model in Settings, About device. OnePlus models with similar names can use different displays.
- If the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor, expect to register your fingerprint again after a display replacement.
- Back up your photos and chats if the phone still works. Repairs do not normally touch your data, but a backup is always wise.
Choose your part: A-grade or standard
For OnePlus displays and batteries, you can pick an A-grade part, the higher quality option with closer colour and brightness, or a standard part, which costs less. The technician will show you the options available for your model before starting.

There is a small visit charge, adjusted against the bill if you go ahead. The final price is confirmed after inspection, before any work.
Warranty
Each repair has a 90-day Refits warranty on the same issue. If the same fault returns within 90 days, we fix it again. Physical or liquid damage after the repair is not covered.
Independence
Refits is an independent repair service and is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by OnePlus. If your OnePlus is still under manufacturer warranty, check before booking, as independent repair may affect any remaining manufacturer warranty.
Frequently asked questions
Can you replace only the glass on my OnePlus?
On AMOLED phones the glass and display are bonded together, so a damaged screen is normally replaced as one unit.
How long will it take?
Most screen replacements take about 30 minutes after inspection and quote approval. Other repairs may take longer.
Will fast charging still work after a battery or port replacement?
The technician will test charging with you before you pay, so you can confirm it works as expected.
